Llum daurada al capvespre de Roma.
Timelapse des del pont Vittorio Emanuele II, mirant cap al pont de Sant’Angelo i el Vaticà. El temps corre en silenci, i la llum del capvespre, reflectida a l’aigua, junt amb els fanals del pont de Sant’Angelo i de la Via della Conciliazione, amb la cúpula del Vaticà al fons, construeixen una escena que et fa sentir transportat a un altre temps.
Aquest és un indret on torno cada vegada que visito Roma. I, per estrany que sembli, al capvespre sol ser molt menys freqüentat que altres espais de la ciutat eterna. Potser perquè la majoria de gent passa de llarg: hi ha massa llocs per mirar i massa poc temps. I qui s’atura una hora sencera només per veure com canvia la llum? A vegades, fins i tot, m’hi he trobat gairebé sol, amb el capvespre banyant l’aire i l’aigua del Tíber lliscant per sota, com un pensament lent. Mirar aquesta llum és com deixar que tot el soroll s’esborri.
La propera vegada que passeu per Roma, regaleu-vos una hora aquí. Sense fer res més que contemplar com el capvespre transforma aquesta part de la ciutat en or.
